100K Service

Just bought a g6 gt 3.9L. The motor already threw a rod. Thankfully i bought the extended warranty when i purchased the vehicle. They are going to replace the engine in the car. It had 98k miles on it. The only replacement motor they could find has 94k. While the motor is out i am going to see about having service done on it so i dont have to do it later? Most cars i have owned suggest having certain maintanence done at 100k. I am going to have the water pump, serpintine belt and thermostat changed. And the timing belt/chain, not sure what these motors use yet. Is there anything else i should have done while the motor is out of the vehicle?

i wouldnt every have an engine with 94k on it put in a car, id pay out of pocket for a new one or one with less than 15k miles on it before i let them put in one with 94k, it might have more problems than the one you already had..........
