tablet for cars

I was looking at buying a tablet to use for my cars. Keep track of all maintenance, youtube, manuals, and I'm going to rebuilding an engine, so I want to have pictures of everything handy. I found one for 70 bucks that seems good for I want. I would want to download the torque pro app. It has a mini usb port. Can I get a cable for that? Is that all I would need is the app and cable? the tab is powered by android 4

For torque to work you need android and a Bluetooth OBDII adapter available for $20-$200 from amazon/eBay and other sites as well. Torque connects and reads everything through the bluetooth. I don't know if there is an obd to microUSB that works for androids as well.

Is there a specific obd2 cable I would need? The one on my scanner has 9 pins and works. A lot of the cables I see have 16 pins.

Probably end up just spending a little more on a tablet that has Bluetooth like the Samsung galaxy 2.
