What is this?

I noticed that whatever fluid this is (pink fluid), is running low. What is it, antifreeze or something else?

Yup, that's your coolant. GM uses Dexcool which has that orange/pinkish color. Don't mix other coolants with it, use dexcool. If its running low then you have a leak somewhere which should be figured out.

Should i fill it up and see if it happens again, or should i just take it to a shop?

I would just leave it, its called an expansion tank since the level will either rise or fall depending on engine temperature. It doesn't look alarmingly low, keep driving and see what the level does. If it continues to drop you may have a problem.

The infamous problems with Dex-cool is usually made worse with low coolant levels. Keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't keep dropping.
