Scan Gauge 2

Has anybody had use of this, and have it read all the values it's supposed to read?http://www.scangauge.com/products/scangaugeii/
If so would this not be a better replacement to the what seems to be a crappy scosche DIC. This does it all except the ambient air temp it looks like, but there are some aftermarket ambient air if you really want it. Then an aftermarket deck could be put in with added features instead of just what you can see on DIC, minis your controls for the alarm, ect.

That looks pretty cool. I'll be reading up more on it.
I use my android phone and run an app called torque. With a Bluetooth OBDII adapter. And it works great. I can moniter intake and ambient temps. Oil temp, speed and rpm of course. Boost/vacuum. Voltage. Fuel trims. The list goes on. And since its on your phone or tablet you can configure the screen however you want.

Yeah, but I think it's specifically to android. My coworker has that same thing but says my iPhone 5 won't run it.

That's weak. I thought there may be an iPhone alternative out there. Scantool makes a program too but it only works with their $200 adapter. they may have iPhone functionality but for that price you might as well get the scan gauge

I'm sure there is an app, just need to search around the app store and maybe do some googling. And that scan gauge looks cool. I also use torque on android but it would be cool to have a fulltime screen for that info.
