Oil life

Small issue, I know.
My oil life keeps resetting looks like every so often, either that or for some reason it's resetting when I reset my trip counters. I don't notice it specifically after filling up, but it does seem to just reset after starting the car sometimes.

That's odd. It doesn't take much to reset it though. What year is your car?

I reset mine a few times a year. I only change the oil every 1-2 years as I don't put many miles on the car. I just changed the oil today and put fresh 5W30 full synthetic Amsoil in.

It's a 2006, I duno maybe the draw from the starter is enough to loose memory, or a glitch in the system when resetting the fuel economy stuff/trip meters.

Are you still using the factory battery?
Have you noticed anything else when you use any other electronics?

It could be factory battery. It has an AC Delco battery in it but the car was cleaned up real good so not too sure if its orriginal or not. I haven't noticed anything else wonky.
