Roof 'groaning' when closing

Hi all,

Anyone have maintenance experience with the drop-top on 2007 G6 GT's? I'm fairly sure that it just needs some lube on the joints, but I'd like to be sure and to know what the proper type is. I only hear it just before and just after it reaches it's highest point of travel. I'd hate to use WD-40 and then have it rip apart later on because of it. I cannot imagine the repair bill for a new roof system!

Anyone with a drop top have/had/heard of this? It's a minor one, but I'd like to fix it properly before it starts binding.
