control arm bushings worn

I was to by my dealer that my control arm bushings was worn, does that likely mean that the arm needs to be replaced or just the bushings.

Pretty sure the whole arm needs replacing. Which includes both bushings and the ball joint

I did mine. Drivers side is a bitch. Be prepared to have an extra jack to support your engine.

Lower Control Arm

Mine needs a Passenger Side lower (520-164) Dorman part Number. Will I need to support the engine for the passenger side ? Thanks in advance Jeff.

Lower control arms / ball joints

My 2007 GT 3.9L AT /AC Hardtop Convertible does not have any of the motor mounts in the way. I think it was a design change for 2007 the 06 might have mounts in the way. Mostly I think because of Convertible the frame is different.
There is a large crossmember almost the ful length of the car and a second one under the transmission pan. If you need to service the Trany you'll need to remove the smaller crossmember towards the front on car.

Did my passager side lower. It took about 2.5 hours and was easy to do. I would recommend doing it your self. Not hard to do. Why pay a shop $350 - $600 to have it done. My total cost was $ 74.95 for the arm.
