Trans filter and oil change on a 3700 Convertible

Hi all,

I'm trying to replace my trans oil filter on a 2007 3700 V6 Convertible, as the sump(oil pan) is leaking and seeing as I have to change the seal I might as well do the lot.

I've been searching online on various forums, and all the information about seems to be about the 3500. My transmission just doesn't match up to the photos and descriptions I see. Basically my trans doesn't have the 11mm level check bolt on the passenger side transmission and the fill point seems to have a small bolt in its place. (Pics below).

I'm happy with changing the filter and getting the pan of, but how will I fill the oil back up after? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!

3700 doesn't sound right.. pretty sure it should be a 3.5 (3500 that you stated) 3.6 or 3.9. Do you have a 6 speed auto trans?
