CIA really worth it??

Hey all!

I'm sure that this topic has been discuessed before but I was just wondering if a Cold Air Intake was worth it? I hear some people say you only gain like 3 - 5 and some say 5 - 10. If this has already been discussed somewhere else in the forum just go ahead and point to the right spot

Also if I get one installed will it affect my warranty that I have with Gm wouldn't wanna go and void that now eh?

Thanks for all your input!

Yes it has been talked about. So much so that its Stickied

And for the warranty. No it shouldn't. For something to void your warranty, the dealer must prove that the aftermarket part that you added caused your vehicle to fail.
So only if the problem is due to the CAI will you have a problem.

And when you do decide to get one, get crabs

For the record, as a purely consumer based rating, CRAB intakes F'n rock!

(I'm not affiliated with Lampoon's company as I'm on the other side of the continent and actually had to pay a premium for shipping and border duties, but it was worth it.)

I am going to have to repeat one of the original questions, is the small horsepower gain noticeable and worth it for the price?
