Simple Tire Question

I have the 18 inch Goodyear's on my car. Obviously it depends on how you drive, but does anyone have an idea of about how long the tires should last before they need to be replaced? I'm just curious.

The first set of 16" Goodyear Eagle LS's on my 2003 GA lasted 25000 miles. The second set lasted almost 50000. I'm thinking that perhaps the OEM tires weren't as good as the set I bought retail from the Goodyear dealer. Hopefully the 18" ones on my GTP will last longer than 25000 miles. My driving is mostly high speed turnpike.

Just curious as to what brand tire is on the GT coupe with the 17inch rims? The Malibu Maxx that I drive right now has some crappy Bridgestone tires which are supposed to be snow and mud rated, yet when its really cold out or a little icy I can't keep the MAXX on the road. Spun close to 200 degress around the other night going 30mph in some snow. Any one have problems like this with their G6?

Thankfully I haven't had a chance to try the G6 in any kind of foul weather other than rain right now.

I've had mine in some NASTY weather, snow packed road and 40 mph wind and it stuck to the road like glue! No problems what so ever and I'm the guy going 75 on the highway in a foot of snow LOL

I wish I could say that I was the one leading the pack in the snow. But since that spin out, I am extra cautious in the snow. I dont want to buy a new set of tires for a car that I only have leased for another 18 months. I can't wait for my lease to be up to get a G6.
