krazy glue on bumber

I spilled crazy glue on my bumber and nothing will take it off someone told me to wet sand it but i dont know how im afraid i will mess my bumber up does anybody have advice on how to wet sand off super glue?

But the internet says that will take the cars paint off with it ! is that right?

internet wrong takes everything off but the paint im one very happy g6 owner. the super glue is gone!!!!!

Scratch it off lightly with and exacto knife, take your time, will come off.

yes acetone works rub it in not to harsh or it will leave a dull spot on your paint and the glue removes. if you dont have clearcoat on your paint like with a older car I would be very careful.

On fully cured clear acetone might as well be rubbing alchohol...it won't harm the paint unless you light it on fire.

I was just being very careful every website I looked up on the internet said there is nothing you can do about super glue on car paint. It said very bluntly if you use acetone be ready for the body shop!

Really? I've never heard that myself. Used occasionally for "oopses" like what you had it is perfect. I wouldn't use it to wash my car every day or anything...but I recently used it on my pickup after a friend blasted a mixture of grease, differential fluid, and diesel fuel all over the side of my truck. Paint hasn't fallen off yet.
