Decal removal

What is a safe way of removing a decal ? I know to use a razor blade ... but dont want to scratch the car

how long haws it been there? You cant get it up with your fingernail enough to pull off?

use a hair dryer and heat the decal up,pull gently and it should come off without leaving any glue still attached to the car
