Wax on rear fascia and "side skirts" on a 2008 GT

So I was waxing my car and some wax touched the plastic and now there is a white streak wherever it touched...how do I get rid of it

I use an old toothbrush and some mild soap, like dishwashing detergent. Not only takes off the wax, but cleans the panel very well too.
