Exhaust!

I bought my g6 Gxp sedan over a year ago and I love it. I was just wondering what is the best way for my car to sound better and nicer without spending so much money? I love the stock sound I just would like to have it sound almost the same but just deeper.

Can anybody help me out?

this honestly can only be answered by... how much are you willing to spend on an exhaust?? the GT-R is custom built for the g6.. it sounds amazing but also cost 700+... people have done the 40 series, the 44 series, and the 80 series flowermasters... i wouldnt recommend the res delete unless you run a glasspack to replace it because the res delete sounds terrible without... youtube will be your bestfriend for this question, just search until you find what you like... the 80 series is by far my favorite sounding its perfect, enough rawr and throaty sound... heres vid of the 80 series.. everything is stock besides the muffler and tips

well basically your best off to google the 80 series muffler, and price them so you get the best deal... ive done a lot of my looking at summit racing. they'll have your tips, and your exhaust, if you decide to do a resonator delete, you can also pick up a glasspack...

but all you will need is...
muffler
tips
glasspack if you want.

THAT video is on a 3.5L G6 yours wont sound ANYTHING CLOSE to that since u have the 3.6...................
just a CRABs intake will change the sound of ur car a bit and sound even better than stock...... if you dont already have it............

headers with stock exhaust:

headers ONLY, NO EXHAUST

headers and GTR exhaust

and if u dont ever get headers, the GTR SOUNDS even a lil bit better too

heres a few more from the track............u can tell the difference in sound between the two just due to the intake temp reading about 160F and retarding the timing a lot in the first one

and in this one u can hear how it sounds a lot smoother when the intak air temp was reading about 120F instead and not pulling as much timing........

and one last one for the hell of it against a G8 GT with intake and tune that he claimed to have around 400hp, his best time and one of my worse times......compairing out best times of the night i had him by .09s lol
