06 GTP Discussion

hey guys, im new to this forum and am looking for some help with my g6.
it is an 06 GTP coupe, tiptronic.

i wanna boost the hp on it but from what ive seen turbos/superchargers are out of the question with the g6s, and same for performance chips. all i have seen available are cold air intakes.

so my question is what can i do to it to increase the hp?

any help is appreciated!

okay.... there is not a Supercharger, turbo or a chip that you can add. the only chips we know about are doritos or lays or fritos.

As for intakes there are a few options. you can get an ebay special, injen knockoff or a crab.

Exhaust. well the jury is still out. there are flocks of people who swear by the GTR and there are people who love their custom setups.

as for tunes, there is WAMS or you can get a custom one done with HP Tuners but not if you have the LX9 (you have the LY7 or LZ9 depending).

Hope it helps.

thanks that does help a bit.

what about something like a new crank? i was talking to my buddy about this and he said he replaced the crank on his Z28 camaro (i believe it was the crank anyway) and it added an extra 50hp or something like that.
