Has anyone removed their stock exhaust by themselves?

Didn't know if this was the right area or not, so please don't butcher me.

Now to move on to the problem. Just bought a Magnaflow Cat-Back.

ITCHING TO INSTALL!!!!!
Also, I don't want to pay for someone to do something I could just as easily do.

Now the big question: Does our exhaust have bolts that connect it? or do I simply have to saw the exhaust off

I did mine myself. I just unbolted it from the flex pipe and cut the pipes by the back muffler to get them off.

MODS:
Crab Intakes CAB, MPD Ram Air hood, Custom exhaust,
WAMS High Performance Tune and a whole lot more....

Ah, good call. I'll unbolt it in the back first, then cut the pipe.

You sir, are a class act. Thank you.

I didnt have to cut anything. Unbolted the mid from the flex. Then the whole assembly just slips out of the little rubber mounts. I also bought the magnaflow single tip catback. So Idk what needs to be cut. You will prob need a new flange gasket. Mine crumbled to pieces. Besides that it was a real easy install even without a lift.

07 GT Coupe
MPD RAM-AIR hood/CAI. MAGNAFLOW CAT-BACK exhaust. WAMS tune.

No. Unfortunately I do have to cut the exhaust. The directions inside the box even say so. http://www.partsgeek.com/assets/perf/full/1418838.pdf

Says cut 4" back from the converter.

You're just lucky because you have an '07. On the '08 they only have a bolt on.
Your Magnflow part number 16760. Mine is 16876
