Ls4

I was just Googling earlier and stumbled upon two forums, one claimed the ls4 could work and fit in the sixer, and one claimed the opposite. What do you think? I think it would be pretty badass, if you had the dollars

Work Done:
GTE Stage1, RAIZIN voltage stabilizer, CAI, 18" Driftz wheels wrapped in General G-Max, JET V-Force Plus, Magnaflow exhaust, Eagle Eyes w/ Notto HID conversion, VHT Nightshade taillights 10"JL Audio sub in ported box, CRABS, eibach springs.
[SIZE="3"][B]Near Future Work:, MPD Ram Air Hood, Window Tint, body kit, stealth paint job

damn wouldn't that be something!
I know that it's probably pretty easy to swap a cobalt motor in. My buddy has a turbo 2.2 from a cobalt sitting around that should be pretty simple to swap into a 6. Stock turbo and some tuning you can get some pretty good power out of it.

I wonder what it would take to get a g6 to be AWD or RWD. I was trying to find info on the AWD Saab 9-3 that shares the same platform, Try and find out just how much is different and what it would take to do the conversion.
I would assume it would be incredibly expensive and really time consuming and such. But man would it be fun!

Same goes for getting an LS4 in a 6 I guess. I don't know how the mounts are but there isn't that much room in the engine bay and you'd probably have to fab up some mounts or something. Also not sure about the clearance with the steering rack and even the trans too...

For the amount of time and money it would take to make it work, you'd be far better off with something like a 240sx to swap one into.

Well, its not really a matter of will it work, its more of a matter of how much money are you willing to spend to make it work. There would be a lot of work needed to get an ls4 to work in the g6. But you definitely could do it.
