2.4l exhaust

I am looking to get a new exhaust but idk what sizes. Since i have a 2.4l should i stick with the 2.25 piping or if i go with 2.5, will i lose power/torque? I know that i am going to get a glass pack instead of the resonator but im unsure of the muffler right now. I want it to sound loud, but no rice. What length should the glasspack be? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

All I did was delete my resonator. I replace it with a section of 2.5" pipe and it added a nice tone. I have exhaust vids in my thread. If you plan to replace it all from the resonator back with 2.5" you shouldn't lose any torque. If you just replace the resonator and muffler then the size change is pretty negligible.

I think a glasspack with a stock muffler will sound close to stock. But if you plan to replace the muffler as well then its a different ball park of figuring it out.

Since its a cobalt motor maybe look for coball ss 2.4 exhaust vids to see what they did and hear how it sounds.

I think i am going to go with 2.5". Do you think for the muffler either the camaro style, or the center/dual outlet will work on the following page?

Or does there have to be a certain kind?
