Exhaust Quote

I am looking into getting a custom exhaust and i contacted a local performance shop. I told them i had the muffler, resonator, and exhaust tips, and that they just had to the bending, welding, and install. I was quoted $800, which i thought was overpriced. Any suggestions?

I'd try a different shop. thats seems way over priced. especially since you have everything except the pipe

I didn't have anything. I went to a shop and they charged me $220 for an exhaust.. Way too overpriced at $800!

They might. But you'd probably be better off going to an independent shop.

All the exhaust shops around me are either midas, meineke, or monroe and then there are 2 performance shops one of which told me the $800.

You can buy a premade exhaust out of stainless and mandrel bends for less than that

I see for the premade ones, there is only a single exit not dual for the 2.4l, am i able to buy the dual exit without any problems for the 2.4l? Magnaflow or gm catback?

I've heard that those weren't that good quality.

In my opinion its a piece of bent pipe under your car. Im not sure I would trust their headers but an exhaust is pretty simple, and for half the price of a magnaflow thats what im doing when I pick one up
