K&n cai or air filter?

Hi i'm looking to buy either a k&n air filter or the pretty pricey CAI for my 2007 GT COUPE but was wondering is the CAI even worth it? How much hp will i even gain from either of these?

I originally started with the K&N drop in filter. But when I upgraded to the CAI I could really tell the difference. If you go with the CAI get rid of the intake resonator. And my only complaint was the K&N heat shield. It was pretty shitty. You'll want to get a hold of Lampoon over at Crab intakes and see if there is any possibility he has any heat shields left, might as well see if he has any intakes left too. Crab Intakes

I have the K&N CAI. How do I remove the intake resonator?

The easiest way is through the wheel well. Look under the CAI filter, you'll have a hole and in that hole is your resonator. When taken out it looks like a big weird plastic thing. Its basically there to not let any water into your stock intake system, but with a CAI you wont have to worry. Now you'll get quite a bit more cool air.
