exhaust for 2009 2.4L?

i'm thinking about upgrading the exhaust in my 2.4l, my first stupid question is: will an exhaust increase my mpg and engine life?
probably another stupid question..but do the exhausts for the 2008 2.4L g6s work for the 2009s?

Well i know it adds some power If its done correctly not sure about MPG though.
All g6ers use the Same exhaust setup

I have a single outlet but most everyone gets the dual valance and gets the Gt-r.

I got about a 1-1.5 mpg increase from the GT-R

But of course, YMMV (literally in this case )

And you would have to get the dual outlet valence as Daniel said.

Dual outlet exhaust won't harm your performance at all.

is there a direct fit, or easy to fit muffler only sold that would work on the 2.4L?
would that make any difference in performance and mpg?
