cold air intake:CRAB,K&N,INJEN..which one do i go for?

have seen a lot of guys having their intake done, and mostly going for CRAB.
regardless of the price, which one provide the most performance boost?
---
here's some official numbers
INJEN claims to increase 9.1HP 9.7TQ
K&N: 5.2HP+, torque increase not given
CRAB: no figures found yet
---
does any one with CRAB can tell me how the performance increase is?
i know this is a tricky question cuz nobody is likely to experience more than one type of intake upgrade....anyway, hopefully there's some answer.

eBay N-Take if you are a bargin hunter.
CRAB if you want product support and a guaranteed solid build.

A number of members have the eBay piping, but most go with CRAB's piping because it is better built. I have the eBay piping with the CRAB Cold Air Box and AEM filter and recommend it.

Theres a couple people around with Injens... I went with the K&N Typhoon but was realy dissapointed with the heat sheild or lack of. either way i was kicking myself in the ass for not going Crabs. but then i bought the Crabs heatshield and im happy for now. might buy myself a chrome FPU in the future.

From what I hear, if I ever chose to install a CAI it will be "CRABS".

All the piping is going to sound the same. There is still no proof that the piping even makes a performance difference, although many will attest that they "can feel and hear it." There will be some benefit, but comparing fictuous numbers is a waste of time. Everyone here will tell you CRABs if you have the money, eBay N-Take if not.

If you are looking for performance, get a PCM tune. You get more HP per dollar.

The vast majority of the performance benefit is from the drop in filter and heat shield made by CRABs. You could even run off the stock piping if you wish. Many other choose that route as well. K&N shield doesn't fit right and has poor customer support. INJEN has little customer support and the piping is designed wrong.
