Rim and Tire size question??

Hello all, I have a 2009 G6 2.4 with the stock rim hubcaps combo and I damaged a rim pretty badly !! I was looking around for a five lug-nut 17'' rims on craigslist!! My question can I use any 17'' from a different car and transfer my tires from one rim to another? cause I see plenty of 17'' rims from BMW, Mercedes Benz, Lexus, and other cars. ohh yeah my tire size is 215/55/17!!

Can I use something like this? :

You can use any rim you want but it has to have a 5x110 bolt pattern to fit on your hubs. Before you buy off craigslist from a different car manufacturer do some research on that particular vehicle and see what bolt pattern they use. Imp willing to bet BMW's and Mercedes will NOT fit due to them being rear wheel drive cars.

Most of those cars use 5x112 or 5x114.3 anyways. So it won't even hit the hub.

When looking on craigslist just search for 5x110. It'll narrow down the search A TON but you'll find what you're looking for.

As for the tires, any 17" tire should fit any other 17" tire, Keep in mind though, you have 215/55r17 So the tires are about 8.4" So try not to get a 10" wide rim haha.
