Good tire recommendations

I put my 2.4 to the ground when it comes to take offs, its coming to that time where I need new tires and I don't have much experience with modification or specification on cars. I need some good grippers for the stock 17x7 steelies. Whats a good brand that will last me until I get some 18x8s?

Check out tirerack.Com for good info. I went with a set of ultra high performance all season tires from kumho, specifically the kumho ecsta 4x on my steelies. Frankly I LOVE them

I chose Cooper Zeon RS3-A's. Love, love, love them. Great for dry, wet and snow. Had them on for about a year now with hard driving and have barely phased the tread depths.

its a great site! And I'm like P Magic, I use my car's grip to the fullest. I like to see how fast I can take highway ramps and roundabouts. Hehe

Also P Magic, how noisy are they? I know mine take quite A LOT of abuse before even the slightest squeal.
