Need help installing rear sway bar links 2006 G6 GT

I am having a very difficult time sliding the new rear sway links on to the
the sway bar ends, tried dish soap, veg oil, it appears the rubber bushing on the new links will not expand enough to slide over the bullet shaped sway bar ends... anyone have any experience or know of method that works...

you'll need to stretch the rubber grommet out i used a 3/8 extension, then let it sit over night (but not necessary) i also put a bit of grease on it then it went on very well. Although understand it still took a lot of manual labor a couple of pry bars and some patients. Best of luck.
