drilling spyder halos on an 08?

The output on these housing are horrible. Tried replacing the buulb with a higher output one, the spyder assembly fried it a few eeks after. Went to put hids in and my dealer said there's no room. How much drilling is necessary? Do I need to also drill screw hole? Can I just use a battery drill and just shave off the circle of the socket over and over until I reach a bigger size? Either this or back to stock til summers back, just started indiana fall.

apparently you need to shave the inside of the plastic housing to fit the bulb and yes you'll need to drill a hole in the dust cover to fit the wires through

You need to put in a lot of work to actually make the output worth it. I was part of the last group buy for them on here and even got the HIDs they were selling with them. To even make the HID bulb fit I had to file down all 4 edges I've circled. I kept the lights maybe a week before going back to stockers.

Mods: GT-R exhaust, CRABs O3 w/FPU, 35% tint, 5000K HID lows/fogs, upper/lower recessed grilles, Racingline strut bar, concept darts, white LEDs everywhere

Same here I had mine in for a few weeks and sold them. If you want to put in the work look up the old group buy thread we talk about shaving them down and using spacers.

Dont even bother. Spyders are a PURE source of shit from a shitty company.

Try and sell them. Then get eagle eyes.

Hids wont even help in those pos's.
