fog light HID's

my g6 has a 9040 light for the fog lights. What HID kit has been used to to make them HID's? can i use another light instead, such as a H11 or H9?

i was thinking that as well until i looked on http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...RG-Results.htm they are saying the fog lights are 9040 so that is why i am confused on the size.

i was thinking about 5000K and the kit from CARiD. http://www.carid.com/2008-pontiac-g6...kit-77434.html these. this kit is 35w. I was going to do my fog/low/high beams. or would i be better off going with the DDM tuning kit for my lights?

If you like spending double the money per kit then get the ones you posted. For 3 kits thats $300 :O

Personally, this is what I would do:

All DDM
- 35W 5000K lows ($40)
- 35W 3000K or 5000K fogs ($40)
- 55W 6000K highs ($50)
- (x3) Dual In/Out relay harness ($45)

totals $175, $125 less than the carid ones. You will have to pay for shipping, but it wont be $125

That makes a lot of sense. I just wasn't sure about quality between the brands. What is the difference in the raptor kit and the standard? it the raptor kit better or what?

The raptor is analog, the slim is digital. With the raptor kit you might get radio static when you turn your lights on.

Mods: GT-R exhaust, CRABs O3 w/FPU, 35% tint, 5000K HID lows/fogs, upper/lower recessed grilles, Racingline strut bar, concept darts, white LEDs everywhere
