HID bulb goes out

Ok So i have a 35 watt 5000k kit in my fogs (projectors) from ddm tuning (slim kit) I have had them there for almost a year now and I recently started having a problem with the drivers side fog lamp. both fogs ignite and startup fine but for some reason out of no where the drivers side lamp goes out. I will notice when I am driving and to get it back on all i have to do is turn off the fog lamps and then turn them on and it ignites again but usually it will just go out sometime in the next few minutes and i would have to repeat the process. My question is what do you guys think is the issue? The bulb burning out or the ballast? or loose connection? I just want to kinda know what my plan of action is so when i take off my drivers side headlamp I know what I am doing so I only have do it once. One thing to note is that it has gotten really cold here recently maybe change in weather could have done something? Thanks

Probably the bulb, sounds like its cycling, which is what HIDS do when they are failing... best way to find out if its bulb or ballast is swap that bulb to the other side. If the problem follows that bulb then u know its the bulb, or if the problem stays with the same side fog light most likely ballast.

update: So I have done nothing since I last got on here. A few days after I made the post my fog light stopped going off. It has been working perfectly since. I have no clue as to why but its working now so I cant complain, my only concern is that does anyone think this is like the last horaah for the bulb like it is likely that it is going to go out for good soon?
