removing aftermarket side vents

Hello all, I bought a G6 from a local dealer around 6 months ago and love it. Its a used 2005 GT edition, chrome rims, moonroof, etc. Great setup. The thing is the car already had some side vent things(don't know a better name for them) installed on both side panels. This isn't my car but im including a picture to help you guys understand what im describing

Im not really into the vents and was wonder is there any way to remove them? I spoke to the dealer and he said it looked like they were just put on there by the last person who bought the car. How can i remove them and would there be any paint damage? Im just worried ill ruin the paint if i try and take them off.

Thanks for any input

Those will be cake to remove.
Just get some fishing line behind it and saw through the 3m tape thats holding it on.
While sawing make sure the pressure you put on the string, as you pull it, is away from the car so its sawing against the back of the emblem and not against the paint.

When your done the emblem will be off. Then its allot of Goo Gone to get the 3m tape off.

My guess is no damage....but ya never know till you remove them.

MODS:
Crab Intakes CAB, MPD Ram Air hood, Custom exhaust,
WAMS High Performance Tune and a whole lot more....

Heat gun, Or possibly a Hair dryer. Just get it hot and it'll come off adhesive and all, Keep it moving, don't let the heat bake into one area, be careful, you can go with the fishing line thing too. Works pretty well, That with some heat would help things.
