Paint Calipers

I want to paint my calipers when i put my new brakes and rotors on here in a couple weeks. Im going to paint them red but i dont really know how i should them. Any suggestions???

pick up a duplicolor caliper paint kit...comes with what you need. might wanna pick up a good paintbrush and wirebrush though. use the cleaner to scrape as much crap off then let dry then paint. the paint is real thick stuff and i used about 3 or 4 coats. just about 8 months since i did em and they're still standing strong, will probably do a repaint this spring to make em nice n attractive

does that come with a aerosol can or like a paint can??

also do you think red would be a good choice with the color of my car?

yes i think red would look fine with a black car...and its a can of paint not aerosol

I agree times 1000. If you want to spend 6 hours taping home, use this youtube.

If you want to paint it by hand.. you just have to clean the caliper before you paint it.



You can see the red slightly in this blocking, but in the daylight, the yumos here.
