Headlight retainer clip in fender!!! Can't find any info!!

Hey everyone I just took out my stock lights and installed some beautiful projectors now here's my issue the little ball and socket rod that sticks out the back of our headlights goes into a little metal retainer in the fender to hold it secure in place... We'll I lost those little metal retainers and now my lights just for sloppy loose in the hole where the retainers was... Anyone know where I can get these little retainers or what they're even called? Please help!! Lol

I would just go to a dealer and get the part. I would think they're really cheap.

Visit a GM parts website. They're bound to have them.

I couldn't find it on RockAuto...

Looking on GM Parts Direct, here's a diagram and it's not specifically called out

I mean an actual GM part retailer (ie GM Parts Direct).

I think I may have found it.

GM # 11561382, 11610198

Found this on E-Bay

Can anyone confirm for me this is what I need?

I just called my local GM parts department and they confirmed that 11610198 is the part number for those clips. List price of $5.28 each. I ordered 2 of them and they will be here tomorrow.

OK, so I ordered that one off of E Bay. it was not what was pictured. Also, I ordered the same from the dealership. I did not receive the blue retainer with the hole in the middle, instead I got a black retainer with a squared off hole in it. I told the parts counter that this wasn't the part I needed and he showed me a schematic of the front end and the part number on the package was the part number on the clip in the fender. Looks like GM changed the retainer shape on us. I will use this one but I imagine the headlight will still wobble around like it is without the retainer in place. If anyone finds the proper retainer please let me know.
