OEM Exhaust Swap

I want to swap a single outlet system to a OEM dual outlet system. I have a 2009 GT coupe. I have bought a dual outlet system, Cat Back for a older G6 not sure the year. There is a difference. The single - original system has a small resonator right after the catalytic conv. The dual system does not have this. On the dual the distance from the cat to the first resonator is a few inches longer. I'm guessing it should work/fit because I doubt they changed the configuration of the under carriage. Ive looked at GM parts websites and they have a different part # for every year.

Thanks in advance, Dave S.

You shouldn't have a problem. I know they added an extra cat on 08 and up, if that helps at all.

So it is a catalytic cov. and not a resonator. That why this system is like 700 bucks and the 2007 and earlier is like half that much from GM.
