Caliper Advice

I have a 2006 Pontiac G6 GT with a Metallic Stealth Gray color.

What color would you guys advise I paint the calipers? I want them to stick out like Yellow or Red, but I'm still unsure. My cars color doesn't mix well with that kind of combination.

Yellow would be better than red on that color.

A total contrast would be that metallic orange color that The Cobalt came in.

Or you could always go with Black or White.

Black with some sort of symbol or word in white or silver looks cool too.

I don't have time to polish brake calipers anymore so I left mine plain.

Bare metal has a beauty all its own.

Modifications:
Aftermarket Exhaust system w/chrome tip. (came with car)
Red ZZ Performance Strut Tower Bar.
Pioneer DEH-P5200HD CD Receiver (HD Radio).
Metra 99-3303 adapter and Steering wheel control adapter.
LED bulbs in climate control panel.
Moda MD9 wheels, Falken Ziex ZE 912 tires.

I know what you mean about the stock feeling. There are some things that I refuse to mod. I think I might go with white.

we just did white on my son's Camaro. I thought he was nuts but It actually looks really good! I dont know that it would on your color though....his care is white.

Are going to stick with the chrometech wheels??? Diff wheels may help with your color choice.

I would go black or red. Yellow may pop. I did yellow on mine and Ive been happy with it.

MODS:
Crab Intakes CAB, MPD Ram Air hood, Custom exhaust,
WAMS High Performance Tune and a whole lot more....

paint

What kind of paint is best to use to paint the calipers? I've been pondering MODs to my new G6 and I am curious. I figure they probably get pretty hot so something somewhat heavy duty would be smart. What do/have you guys used?

they make high temp paint specifically for calipers. you can usually find the spray at any auto parts store. some people prefer the G2 brand paint kit.

I think I'm going to lean towards white.

Your G6 makes me so jealous Lampoon.
