Question about DeBadging

I'm thinking of taking off the "Pontiac", "G6", and "GT" off my trunk for looks

Are there places to buy new ones of these of how would i go about getting replacements if i ever wanted to put them back on?

Ebay. I've bought my GT badges for 8 dollars each. You could also go to the dealer, but they cost like 30 dollars each or something silly....

You could also try reapplying them if you ever felt the need by using a hairdryer to heat the adhesive.

why would you need new ones? just save the ones you take off... it's not like they aren't re-usable... just need to put some double sided tape on em and stick em back on.

I agree with Nate, just be careful when you remove the badges and there still good. Have fun lining them back up straight tho haha!

Dog, i did the same thing, pretty easy, jus gotta b delicate so u dont scratch the paint of course. Jus used a strait razor, not a single problem happened. Bought letters offa Ebay, but now it says 'feel the bass' (2 12's in the trunk). No camera, otherwise id show pics.

for those more in a 'rush' or wanting to try a different approach without bending the letters, use a hair dryer and fishing line. Heat it up, fishing line behind it and pull down, will come right off. Keep w/ the heat and some goo-gone (much better than paint thinner) and your good to go, decals still perfectly intact

if you are worried about the adhesive remover try some on the inner door or under the trunk where the paint isn't seen as often to make sure
