So I've got this CB Radio...

So I do a lot of highway driving now, and I just so happen to own this CB radio:

except mine isn't the 50th anniversary

Now the big question... Where can I mount this thing?!?
I'm lookin for ideas!

Like to the side of the console? Because I've though of it. Like it would sit right by my right knee while driving

that'll get pretty cramped. if your gonna do that your better off putting it on the pass side. how about in the center counsel, youll have the grooves so the mic can sit out while its closed. then you just need an external speaker......and find somewhere to mount that i guess haha.

Ive got one of these in my truck and it works great.

Not a bad idea. I thought about getting it inside the center console, it'll take up quite some space. But I could easily switch channels and getting an external speaker wouldn't be difficult at all. One thing is I already have that little slot in the console for my phone charger, which sits neatly between the seat and center console preventing crap from falling down into the seat. But I guess another cord wouldn't hurt. ha

I wonder how it'll fit in the console. I'll try and see what happens.

I'm thinking of cutting a hole down near the bottom of the panel by your knees so i can change channels on the fly
