Adding UUI Radio to Non-Monsoon G6

Hi all,

So, for an unrelated reason, I've come into possession of a G6 UUI radio for my '09.5 for $99. A good deal, in my opinion.

Problem is my car didn't come with Monsoon.

Obviously I don't want to go through and upgrade all my speakers, but I do want to use the USB port on the UUI head unit.

My question is - How hard is it to add the Monsoon subwoofer and amp only? Does anyone have the G6 part numbers for those bits?

Edit: Second question - anyone else done this? Will the Monsoon amp/sub/headunit play well with the base speakers?

That's disappointing. I'll be dedicating my time on other sites more then.

While I've moved on from this forum mostly (vote with your wallets, always) - I did solve the mystery of how to get a UUI radio working without a Monsoon amp properly:

My G6 now has a fully functional UUI radio and did not need any amp deployed (Monsoon or otherwise). All audio levels, door chimes, and antenna reception works flawlessly.
