Door Speakers

I'm putting in a set of 6 1/2" speakers in my wife's car this week-end. She has a 05 sedan GT with Monsoon and Northstar. I'll post pictures later. Can anyone give me an idea of how the door panels come off and the + and - colors for the wires?

Speaker wire: http://www.eliterides.com/speaker-wi...#generalmotors
Door installations: http://www.g6performance.com/phpBB3/...hp?f=29&t=1018

I replaced mine this past weekend and was shocked to find that you couldn't remove the stock speakers from their housing...it's all one piece! So I ended up using my jigsaw and cutting speakers out of the housings and screwing my new ones in. Although I didn't have a Monsoon system as you do, so yours may be different.

Good luck!

Everything worked out great. Thanks for your help. I didn't have to cut the old speakers out.

Lucky you. One of the many benefits of the Monsoon system I guess.
