Problem with 05 G6 radio

My wife's 05 G6 has the 6 disk cd player. The car died a few weeks back and the radio began to spit out cds when we turned it back on. Now there are still cds stuck in the cd player and they wont come out. I can't put any cds in either. The cd player says no disk when I press the eject button. I do not know what to do to fix it. I really don't want an aftermarket radio b/c of the info center. The car is not under the factory warranty. Any ideas to help me out?

Did u try a search?
Keep hitting eject and eventually one might spit out.
Thats what I did. Took forever.

I upgraded to a 2008 radio for the Aux input. I also went with the single CD
as I didnt need it with the Aux as I can hook my iPod up to it.
That way I wont have the changer crap out on me again.

plusses are I keep my DIC (computer), XM and now I have an Aux!

Minuses are you have to pay a Stealership to program the radio to your car.

Do everything yourself (install) and save $$....

MODS:
Crab Intakes CAB, MPD Ram Air hood, Custom exhaust,
WAMS High Performance Tune and a whole lot more....

I have a 2005 G6 with the same problem except I did get the cd's out by pushing the eject button. Now it will not work at all. I want to upgrade it but am having a problem with what to do. Any suggestions and was it expensive to replace the sysytem?

if that doesn't work do a search for a thread called "Can I replace my 06 Factory Stereo with an 08"...
Lampoon has a lot of radio info floating around. Look on ebay for a radio, too.... that is if you are wanting the G6 factory radio. a dealership recently tld me they would install and activate for $75 (one hour) of work. I got an 08 radio on ebay for 140 w/ shipping.
