A little help with a Radio Install

O.k.

So its like beating a dead horse ive read all the threads i could find
But this is still a noob question.

I want to install a dvd/radio player

Will all i need be:

1. The Radio
2. MEtra kit
3. Male to female antenna

Main question is there an additional harness i need to purchase?
I plan on doing this myself.

I know the metra kit comes with a harness but is it the one i need for the radio.
