Program Keyfob?

Does anybody have the instruction on how to program a keyfob to an 06 G6? Sister lost hers and was going to buy one off ebay and do it herself, but I'm having trouble finding them.

usually when buying remotes on ebay, sellers provide link to programming or tell you to email them after winning for link.

Sorry, you can't program them yourselves. You have to go to the dealership (or some locksmiths) to be able to program them. It cost me $54 for them to program 2 fobs.

Make sure the GM\L number matches on the fobs or the fob you buy may not work.

I did see on one auction that they had instructions available. Thanks guys. I'll have to check in and see what her progress is. Wish it was simple, I guess they want to claim every cent you have.

I probably bought from the same company on ebay that you are looking at. They sell remotes for all cars, some car remotes are programmable, some aren't (like the 6s). I found "instructions" online how to "program" ours but all I got out of it was wasting 15 minutes of my life.
