Hooking up the Iphone

What up. Im new to the forum so Im not sure if there is a thread up already on this but I was wondering if there is a way to keep my stock stereo and some how intergrate my iphone or ipod into the the car's stereo WITHOUT the use of an fm transmitter. (I hate those things!) Im not really worried about going all out for hands free calling and junk like that. All I want is to play my music off of my iPhone. Any Ideas?

There are two ways.
What justin is trying to say, is you can get the 08 factory stereo that comes with an aux input.
Or
Get a PAC Adapter, kinda like this one.

I would recommend getting the 2008 monsoon, if you could find it.

Thanks guys. I was really trying to keep it under 80 bucks but I can't find anything like that. I'll have to try the newer radio thing.

If you haven't gotten anything yet, I would go for the PAC adapter, like someone already linked. I have one from iSimple, which is the same thing, just a different brand. If you have the nice thing about this vs the new radio is that you can use the steering wheel controls (if you have them) and it will also charge your phone. Just lettin' you know.

On my CTS, I was able to splice in a headphone jack to the XM, and use it to play on XM 0 (XM plays no sound there). I didn't figure this out on my own, I read about it at the Cadillac forums.

Has anybody come up with a similar mod for the pre-Aux years of the G6?

(I must have bought the last 2 cars built w/o aux jacks)

IIRC the NON Monsoon cars don't have XM, A similar approach has been done with Monsoon equipped cars

anyone know where to find the 08 monsoon?
But it will definitely fit into my 06 monsoon space?
and it won't give me an error making the CD functionality worthless?
I love my car

Does the PAC work with pre-Aux stereos? I have the Aux button, but haven't found any way to confirm if I have the AUX input. I think I remember checking the date of manufacture or something and finding out that I don't have it.
