Calling all AVH-P4100 owners

I need help.
I bought the ipod cord that allows you to play videos off your ipod onto your unit.
I also wired a bypass using a bosch relay, which when i put a DVD in i can watch while driving so that works great.

But i have two questions.
How do i add my own background to the unit?
And how come videos aren't working!! I have the cord and it should be working, but all i hear is audio, no video.

Things i have tried...
Quote:
You have to set up the AUX output.
1. Touch the source icon and then touch "OFF" to turn the unit off.
(The unit will be in demo mode)
2. Touch the screen to display the touch panel keys.
3. Touch AV Menu you should see "Inital Menu" and touch it.
4. Touch AUX 1 on the inital menu to select desired setting.
5. Touch it until Ipod is selected (make sure you have the CD-IU200V connected.
6. Touch ESC. Ipod video should work now.
I swear i had it working once, when i used a downloaded video that i converted to mp4, but the itunes music vids arent working.

Im so lost, any help is appreciated.

I don't own that unit, or know anything about it - but, are you making sure that the video formats are supported on your head unit?

Do you still have that video on your IPod, and does it work? When you had it working, was that video on your current Ipod that is not working? I know some head units don't like to play well with certain models of IPods, which could be a potential source to the problem?

No the ipod is not jailbroken, and i have only had the headunit for a month. Just checked ipod, has latest software/firmware.

I'm prolly going to call crutchfield and ask for advice.
