How does this set up look?

Hi guys,

I am the new owner of an 09 G6. My car does not have the monsoon system and it could definitely use an upgrade. I don't know much about audio equipment and I'm not really looking for anything competition level, just something that will give me a nice sound. I drive my car A LOT as I travel around for work and gps would come in handy so I've been looking at this set up...

In dash gps/receiver:
http://www.crutchfield.com/s_020NX40....html?tp=20212

plus these speakers front and rear:
http://www.crutchfield.com/s_130TSG1...3R.html?tp=105

Will this set up give me the quality sound that I am looking for? Will I run into any issues with this set up that affects the normal operation of the vehicle electronics? I've heard that I will no longer be able to get info on oil life, etc...does this cause any problems with the car?

Thanks for the help.

Yes you do lose your oil life, etc...
I would honestly recommend just getting an external gps like tomtom, and keep your factory stereo.
As for the speakers, those are pretty trashy, but none the less a little better than factory ones. And those wont fit in the rear deck either, rear deck speakers are 6"x9"

2006 G6 GT
Mods so far: Black arrow overlays, Chrome recessed grilles, Blue LED license plate light, Blue LED reverse lights, Smoked tails, 20% Tint all around, Red led's for the interior, White led dome and map lights.
Sound System: 4 Infinity Kappa component speakers, 2 Amps (950w total) and 2 10" Kenwood KFC subwoofers, 7" touch screen Pioneer DVD

Performance: Mobile 1 oil, Mobile 1 oil filter

very true
but 6x9 speakers are where you get your bass from.
They produce almost 3x the bass a 6.5" speaker would.
Why downgrade?

Thanks for all the input guys,

I think I'm just gonna stick with the factory system, maybe upgrade the speakers. Im gonna go the tom tom route instead, I really don't want to mess anything up with the car or warranty.

thanks again
