Replacing Head Unit.

I am very new to this site and my G6. Only had it for about 3 days now! I have a Liquid Silver, 07. I think its the Value Leader but not too sure.

My question is, when removing the head unit, can you replace it with an in-dash DVD/CD deck and also like to keep the info bar, "oil life, time, mileage, etc" I am not really sure what it is called. Does anyone know what size screen it would take to allow both of them to fit in the deck.

thanks!

HEy there a couple recent threads in here about this.

BUt you can get the metra II i think its called. This well keep all the Driver info stuff. and either put that somewhere in the car (glove box center console) and do a double din or install it the regular way and do a single din with a flip out. That is what i did. There is also a member of this forum selling all the stuff for a double din flip out for 100 bucks wish is a good deal.
