Help me please, Problem with front speakers/G6

I drive a Pontiac G6 2005 my car stereo has been fine ever since I got it. I've never modified the stereo, this morning my front speakers and my bass won't work or have a static sound from them. Rear speakers are fine what does this mean? What can I do? If I have to repair them how much will it cost(ballpark it). Thanks Sara

What type of car do you have? Convert, Sedan, or Coupe.

Do you have the monsoon sound package?

It's hard to pinpoint the exact problem because you state you can hear static going to the front speakers so that means that the wiring works, but nothing is going through. Your headunit/amp probably malfunctioned.

New amp or headunit (factory) costs around $80-100 on eBay.

Funny thing is that I have nearly all the parts for a monsoon sound system that I pulled from my G6 for sale haha
