Flip DOWN with Metra

Im worried that with a flip up screen using the metra system that it blocks the vents. And with that, running heat would damage the screen. Has anyone installed a flip down? What is it? Im not having much luck finding many. There was one, but very poorly manufactured. I have thought of just going double din, but i dont want to lose the DIC and dont want to try and put it in the glove or console. Any help?

The single din flip screen will block the vents but no damage should happen ive ran air con and Heat with zero issues. Also having the screen up a little higher doesnt hert for viewing either you dont need to look down as far. Aperance wise the double din does look better.
I have some pics in my thread of mine.
