2005 G6 GT Sedan Review, a must read.

Now that my 2005 G6 GT Sedan is toast because some idiot was texting and driving, I thought I would post a thread for those looking for info on the G6.

History:
First owner was a lease and never rust checked the vehicle. I was the second owner, purchased for $10,500 with 56,000km in Jan. 2009 and it died with 130,000km in Jan. 2013

Annual Maintenance:
Rust checked (Canada) each year I owned it, the body was in mint condition.
Oil changes every 5,000km
Air filter every 20,000km

Maintenance:
Tires at 77,000km
Front/rear pads and rotars at 87,000km
Coolant flush at 87,000km (GM 5 year spec.)
Fuel system flush at 108,000km
Tie Rods at 121,000km
Front Stuts/rear shocks at 125,000km

Unexpected breakdowns:
Zero

Overall this was a good investment and turned out to be a very reliable car. I was so impressed with my 2005 G6 that I went and purchsed a 2006 G6 GT Coupe yesterday.

Bruffy,
I am sorry to hear about your unfortunate incident with your 05' G6. Thank you for sharing the positive feedback and experience that you've had in the past. I will be sure to pass it on. Hopefully your 06' G6 GT will provide you the same investment.

If you have any additional questions, please be sure to post or private message me.

Vanessa
