Intake manifold gasket leaking.

Hey all,
So the infamous IM gasket is leaking as all GM's go through this at some point. Anyone know how much pain this job is on a g6?

Re: Intake manifold gasket leaking.

I believe it's the upper. But shouldn't I just replace both at once?

Couldnt hurt to do both while you have it apart, upper is pretty easy, lowers not that bad but you do need to take off the fuel rails...

What engine are you having this problem with? I thought the newer V6's were corrected and wouldn't have this issue anymore.

Is this the infamous 60* V6 LIMG problem? They haven't fixed that yet?

My thoughts exactly. I mean atleast this time if it happens to my G6, I already know what the issue is and won't end up warping heads like I did on the Grand Am.

Oh and Felpro Permadry is the answer to this problem!
