Getting another G6!

Hi all, not sure if I have posted here before but I've been a lurker. I had a 2007 Pontiac G6 a few years ago and got rid of it and miss it quite a bit. I may be picking one up in a week and I'm pretty stoked. It's a 2009.5 G6 V6 with 137k miles. They are asking just over $4k for it so I'm sure I could swing $3800 before TTL.

Looking at the pictures I can tell it has aftermarket lights, any idea what these are so I can determine replacement bulbs? Also what color is this? In the first few shots it looks green but on the rear it looks blue? The dealer says it's silver but that isn't just silver. My G6 was silver and didn't look like this one.

Anything I should know about the 2009.5 models? I had my 2007 for a couple years so I'm pretty familiar but not sure what is differences are besides the exterior styling. This is the FlexFuel variant but I'm assuming it's the same 3500 series V6.

The one with the tinted windows is my old one.

Nice looking 6. It's not silver its that blue grey color. Those are Spyder Lights. you'll probably want to switch them out eventually, They dont give great light output. Great buy!!

Look at the sticker in glove box ,if it is 400p then it is blue gold crystal metalic. I do think it has been referred to as transition blue as dxg6 suggests.

I was able to test drive it yesterday and it definitely is a blue color. It does change color a bit depending on lighting conditions, love how it brings out the curves of the car with a shadow darkening effect. It has a nice sparkle as well. There are some paint scuffs on the rear bumper that I think I can buff out, I will need to do some touch up paint around the rear license plate as well. The front air dam is broken in half but I can get that back together so it doesn't look too bad.

It drives well, really miss the power the G6 had from 0-10mph, it gets out of its own way for sure. The interior is very clean, the driver seat has a tear in the side where the bolster adjustment is but not too bad. Surprised to find it has remote start which is lovely! It has the turn signal issue like the rest of the 6s. The only concern I have is the vibration that starts at about 45mph. I'm going to go down on Friday (in three days) and take it out on the freeway before I make the final decision. I will have them put an alignment on the contract.

Out of the blue I figured I would show what my old G6 sounded like - - can't wait to put the same exhaust on a newer one!

I just got it yesterday. I'm looking over the car and documenting all the small issues I will be fixing over the next several months and I will get some pics up as well. I guess this may turn into my progression thread. More to come.

I replaced my bulbs with LED bulbs. One hell of a better deal. My low beams are very bright so I rarely use my high beams. The spyder lights are pretty nice but replace the bulbs with LED as soon as you can. You will have much better visibility. My son has a G5 and did exactly the same thing
