Saturn to a Pontiac

Hello Ladies and Gents I would like to say that I am a new owner of a 2006 G6 V6 say that ten times fast. I Have hadthe car for about 5 days and I am very pleased with it. I traded my 1993 Saturn SL2 with a 5speed and well over 350,000 miles on the body and tranny and about 200,000 on the replacement motor. I had the SL2 for over 11 yrs and it was super dependable with fuel mileage that was 35+ mpg but the floor boards started rotting away so it was time to say goodbye to my good friend.

As for the G6 it has little over 100,000 miles on it and has the 3.5L V6 with 4spd auto it has been over 13 yrs since I owned an auto as my daily but I am slowly figuring out what to do with my left leg.

Moving forward I would like to eventually get a decent exhaust, intake and possibly chip for added performance and to make it look good maybe add some nice rims (or the stock steel 17 inchers painted), lowering kit, custom headlights, tint the windows and maybe later on down the road a hood and body kit.

I would love to hear recommendations on any and all possible upgrades and what types of benefits they would bring thanks in advance

Welcome to the club!! Chips are useless for our car youll have to get your ECM tuned. look into Crabs for the intake, and as far as a hood MPD does a ram air hood for us.

check out our "members ride" section for ideas. and start a progression of your own.

I went from a 1999 saturn SL2 to an 06 G6 GT! I would do the intake first, and CRABS is the only option in my opinion. A guy on the forum by the name of Lampoon makes them so if you have any questions thats where id start! For your exhaust id do a lot of research on the forums and on youtube for sound clips to find what sound you really like. Good Luck with your 6!
